Screened Instrumentation Cable (EG)

Applications

Cable used in the oil industry for analogue signal transmission. The aluminium-polyester screen and drain wire protect low-level signals from electromagnetic interference.

Construction

• Conductor: Bare copper — model 05: 0.8 mm wire / model 09: 7 × 0.4 mm wires
• Insulation: PVC
• Screen: Aluminium/polyester tape with tinned copper drain wire (7 × 0.20 mm)
• Armour: Two steel tapes
• Sheath: Light blue PVC-RH

• Max. operating temperature: 105 °C continuous
